What does a software engineer’s daily life sound like?

We follow Ben in this largely self-filmed DITL video from Red Hat. As the composer, I was tasked with underscoring and highlighting the fun and effervescent aspects of life as a supercomputer software engineer for Red Hat. I brought some fun ear candy elements to the table for this soundtrack, sprinkling in stereo-panned percussive synth plucks and electronic drum sizzles over a much more analogue lo-fi beat at times. It’s a fun collage of different musical styles and sounds in this short film. The buzzy aspect of the music works even better when you keep track of how much coffee Ben drinks in a day! Wow!

I wrote the music and created the sound design for this short informational film.
